Who was the architect or founder of robben island?

The Robben Island was primarily used as a prison by the Dutch. It is known historically. To start of, Robben Island is an institution for political prisoners. It is a part of UNESCO’s world heritage and is located in the Western Cape. Some of the most famous prisoners that were held there were: Nelson Mandela, Jacob Zuma, and Kgalema Motlanthe.
