Use the slope-intercept form to find the slope. The slope-intercept form is y=mx+b y = m x + b , where m m is the slope and b b is the y-intercept. Using the slope-intercept form, the slope is 3 3 . All lines that are parallel to y=3x+4 y = 3 x + 4 have the same slope of 3 .
