Find the y-intercept using the point (5,3) and the slope -2

y=mx+b and you are told that m=-2 so

y=-2x+b  and we have the point (5,3) so we can find b...

3=-2(5)+b

3=-10+b

b=13, b is the y-intercept.  Technically the point (0,13) :)
