This could be an example of "a personal fable". The term was invented in 1967 by David Elkind who was a psychologist. Personal fable is the result to the nonexistent or imaginary audience. Considering himself or herself as the focal point of attention, the juvenile comes to trust that it is on the basis that he or she is exceptional and novel.
